Company History

EASI Hairdressing Academy is a privately owned company. It was established in Colchester in May 2003, with a second centre opening in Braintree the following year. During this time the company has seen rapid growth; increasing from 17 learners to over 250 in a little over 4 years.

In August 2004 EASI joined a consortium of six organisations delivering work-based learning in the Braintree, Colchester and Tendring area (BCT). The members are: Braintree College, Catten College, Colchester Institute, EASI Hairdressing Academy, Essex Chambers of Commerce and Tendring District Council (Career Track). Working together as part of this large team gives us the opportunity to share best practice, help one another and access a Learning and Skills Council contract for providing work-based learning to over 1000 learners.
In September 2007 EASI received the “Highly Commended” award in the Mid Essex Business Awards in the Growing Business of the Year category.
