How EASI will use your personal data and information

We take your privacy seriously at EASI Hairdressing Academy and at this stage we will only use your personal information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to process your application. We will use the contact details you provide to inform you of the progress of your application. We will use the other information you provide to assess your suitability for the position you have applied for.

We do not collect more information than we need to recruit our apprentices/learners and will not keep information for longer than is necessary.

The information you provide will be kept securely by EASI and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format.

If you are successful in securing a training programme, as part of your enrolment we will share your details with the Department for Education (DfE) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to create and maintain a Unique Learner Number (ULN) and a Personal Learning Record (PLR). EASI will hold your information as part of your Learner File for the duration of your training. This includes your declarations, education certificates and references alongside your learning record and forms.

If your application for a training programme is unsuccessful, EASI will keep the information you supplied during the application process for 6 months after notifying you of the decision.

You can request to have your personal data and information removed from EASI systems and/or request a copy of any information we hold.
